Well I had intended on reading like a mad woman and taking my exams in October. However, I have been enjoying being a full time mom and haven’t made much progress on my reading lists! This of course puts me a month or two behind my initial deadline. Since I was still in coursework when I delivered our son I didn’t have much time to “just enjoy him.” He is already growing up too fast and I didn’t want to miss a thing so I figured work could wait a bit. We left for California on June 24th and my husband returned to NY on July 3rd. The baby and I stayed and extra 2 weeks and 2 days! We met with friends and family and enjoyed the California sun. We stayed in Burbank for the last week and relaxed while visiting with my sister and her family. Fortunately for me my dad accompanied the baby and I back to NY and will stay for an extra week while helping us with home repair. Needless to say my husband and I were glad to be back together as a family but it was also hard to leave my home state. Fortunately after my much needed vacation, I am now I’m feeling refreshed and ready to get back to work!
